This edition is the original publication of Rosslyn Bruyere's fine work. It was titled 'Volume 1,' which indicates that a greater volume of work was planned. I have only seen this one book by Bruyere, and, to me, it is a wonderful complement to Barbara Brennan's 'Hands Of Light.' Each book deals with the same basic material, but each healer/researcher takes the material in slightly different directions.

Rosslyn Bruyere is perhaps the better teacher of the two. Her explanations, diagrams, and exercises give a thorough and clear introduction to the chakras. It is a wonderful starting place but also a book to return to again and again, giving more each time.

Here is a part of the description from the back of this initial edition of Bruyere's book so that you know a bit more what to expect:
