My 3 year old grandchild just loves to play with this for hours. It obviously has no educational value but it was not purchased for that reason. Durability is not know. The only weak spot on these toys is the wheel/axle configuration. They are built to have a lot of motion and flexibility. This will be the problem area if any occurs. Any kid rating this toy would give it a 5 star rating. Putting it down is the only hard thing for him to do.
