This was a tough year for Christmas presents- but Monster Trucks saved the day! I happened to come across this set in my local Big-Box store (you know, the big blue one that allows you to save money and live better). It was a spur-of-the-moment purchase and I'm SO SO SO gald I got it because my son has played with it every waking minute. And don't get me wrong, my kid is a lot like other boys...wanting to watch tv or play on the computer about ever thirty seconds. But today was all about mini Monster Trucks crashing and bashing all around the living room floor. I actually got to witness my son do something he rarely does anymore....play...and use his immagination! TV and computer weren't even asked about! If your boy likes monster trucks, buy this set for his birthday! It is a must have and mom and dad will be so happy they did!

My 4-year-old begged for this, but I thought it would break in 5 minutes. I was wrong! It works great, was easy to assemble, and is great fun, even for mom!

My son received this from Santa for Christmas.Its an OK toy,He easily became bored with it.It does work though and seems sturdy enough.As another reviewer stated,The truck shown Grave Digger,DOES NOT come with this set.Its a World Finals truck.My youngest son likes playing with the monster truck in the bathtub.I think for the money it was a good buy.

Purchased for 5 yr. Old grandson. Launcher takes practice and is a little hard, general quality of toy is cheap and hard to set up after each crash, spinning thing doesn't launch truck, just spins it. And crushable cars are hard to crush and hard to put back together for my 5 year old. Disappointing. But he does enjoy trying to make it crash and jump. Overpriced for it's functionality.

Bought to add to my son's collection of Monster Trucks. The set is flimsy, but I'm sure that he can use launch over and over again.

My 3 year old loves to take apart his toys. This is not a toy for children like that. It's pretty well ruined now bc of the part the truck "smashes" into won't snap back together or stay upright. The "smash" cars that come with this set refuse to stay together on their own from the start, so every few minutes he's handing them back to me to try to put back together. It lasted about 5 days in my house and it's cute. but there has to be better toys out there with better quality.

I was looking around for some Hot Wheels set for Christmas for my 4 year old son.. unfortunately most of the other Hotwheels track sets had very poor reviews.... not enough zip, tracks that came apart etc...

This one seemed to get better reviews, generally looked fun for a boy who loves Monster Trucks, and as it can be folded up and put away, I figured that was a big plus.

We weren't disappointed. There's enough activities in the set to keep him and his older sister entertained... from the spring loaded ramp/jump to the plastic cars that can be "crushed" by the monster truck to the spin-around "donut" feature, he seemed to be very well entertained, and we had few complaints about set up (it does take some getting used to, to determine how pieces fit together, but a 4 year old eventually figured it out).

So amid the less than lukewarm reviews of other Hotwheel track/products, I'll give this one a thumbs up!

My son does play with set because he loves anything related to "Monster Jam".
However the main section of the set that is supposed to clip together does not,
no matter how hard you try, clip together. So that takes away HALF of the
functionality. The little plastic cars and trucks are simply horrible. You
are supposed to bend the plastic sides and form cars, but again, these do not stay
together and become useless in a hurry. If I had know how bad this toy was,
I wouldn't have bought it. It seems like Mattel never tested this product.

I like this toy. It looks like a lot of parts to be strewn over house but almost everything is attached and it is very sturdy. My 3 year old loves it.

In the picture it shows it comes with Grave Digger. When I opened the box from Amazon, it was a World Finals truck - whoever that is. I was disappointed since I bought it because my son's favorite monster truck is Grave Digger. I'm sure he'll still have fun with it, but I'm not happy about that at all.
