5.0 out of 5 stars Best there is. September 9, 2000
Format:Audio CD
Hey, this is a great cruisin' album. This is great country music, and I don't even like country! I can remember listening to this album when I was kid and loving it. It's great and I would recommend it to anyone.

5.0 out of 5 stars Outstanding!! November 8, 2004
Format:Audio CD
This was when the group was at their best. Every song on this album could have been a Top 5 hit if released. New York Hold Her Tight is one of the most beautiful, haunting songs ever! The Boy's on a Roll and We Owned This Town are awesome as well!

5.0 out of 5 stars perfect August 30, 2008
Format:Audio Cassette
This is one of the few albums that is great from start to finish, that is totally listenable. Not only are the four #1 hits great, but so are the non-single tracks. "Wheels" is my personal favorite of them all, and since it is curiously left of off most compilations (in spite of being a #1 hit), all Restless Heart fans should have this CD.

For the record, this hits off this CD were:
"That Rock Won't Roll" (Country #1)
"I'll Still Be Loving You" (Country #1 Pop #33 AC #3)
"New York (Hold Her Tight)" (AC #23)
"Why Does It Have to Be (Wrong or Right)" (Country #1 AC #11)
"Wheels" (Country #1)

the album itself topped the country albums chart and went Gold. I think everyone should have this CD in their collections. I'd pick it over a Greatest Hits collection even, it's top notch from start to finish.

5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant country group of the eighties May 16, 2005
Format:Audio CD
Restless Heart never achieved the mega-success of Alabama or even the durability of Sawyer Brown, but for a few years in the late eighties they were very successful. This 1986 album was one of their most successful. All the songs are original. Some were co-written by members of the group but good as they are, the songs that were played on American country radio all came from other songwriters.

Dave Loggins, a prolific country songwriter who had a pop hit with Please come to Boston, wrote the title track. The other classic songs here are That rock won't roll, I'll still be loving you, Why does it have to be wrong or right and New York hold her tight. Of the other songs, my favorite is Hummingbird but I enjoy them all.

The music here has more of a country feel to it than some eighties country music but it still has pop and rock influences. Larry Stewart's excellent vocals supported by the great music and harmonies of the rest of the group make this an album well worth listening to, if you enjoy eighties country music.

4.0 out of 5 stars almost 5 stars November 2, 2013
Format:Audio CD
This is one of my favorite cds of all time. And probably my favorite cd by a group. (And Alabama was my favorite group). But this is a great, great cd. Starting off with Wheels which at first didn't sound right because I had it on a Bellamy Brothers cd. But after I kept listening to this and after it was released as a single. It is absolutely a Restless Heart song. It goes on with the hit That Rock Wont Roll which is another one of my favorite songs on here. I'll Still Be Loving You was another hit. A good slow love song. Why Does It Have To Be is another favorite. And Another hit. Hummingbird is the most get down song on the cd. With amazing instrumentation. The Boy's On A Roll is a favorite non hit. So is Hard Time. Victim Of The Game and New York are probably my least favorite songs. But still very good. And it ends with We Owned This Town which always brings back memories of High School and a good closing song. I love this cd. Like I said Alabama was my favorite group. But like the opening line in Why Does It Have To Be. It's No Secret. Restless Heart was second. And I saw them both live. And Restless Heart put on the best live concert I've ever been to.

This was the 3rd album from this group. The songs were lively and very well done. One of the strong points with this band was the harmony's on every tune. I had the privilege of going backstage and meeting these guys at a concert.
