Hot Wheels Toy Story Falling With Style Track Set

my boys (4,8,10) and their friends have played with this toy 5 out of 7 days since we got it. at one time, we had five kids (4,8,10,11,11) all playing at once! the downhill gives lots of speed. they've built 'rings of fire' out of hangers and legos for the cars to jump through once they fly off the ramp. they've tested all their other hot wheels cars on it, figuring out which ones are best, figuring out how to tweak the track to maximize speed. (little lessons in physics.) i love the fact that there few pieces and they are so basic. in the end, just what i was looking for: lots of (creative) fun, modest price, compact storage, and assembled such that we wouldn't immediately break or lose pieces. MUCH better than a big fancy set.

Most Hot Wheel games look so much fun on the cover of the box or when set up in a commercial but lack the fun when you set them up at home. This one actually hits the mark. I was reluctant to purchase, but my son was having a Toy Story theme for his 7th Birthday. With the use of a book to hold the landing ramp, my seven year old was able to connect 7 out of 10 times, with the three misses so close that it really entertained him. If the ramp had more weight or had the ability to be more stable it would be perfect, but I know this is cost prohibitive. All in all of all the Hot Wheels items I have purchased, this one is the best. Simple always works best!

This is such a great, simple, educational (yes I mean that) toy. It was almost as much fun getting Buzz to make the jump as it was watching him crash because my son and I didn't have the landing ramp lined up correctly. I used it to help him learn about gravity and momentum. Hey, who knew you could use it as a teaching tool? Now he tries it with different cars to test whether the heavier ones are better than the lighter ones: which make the jump? who lands farthest? which don't even get through the loop?

What fun!

We just got this from amazon yesterday evening. My son loves playing with it but this morning we discovered that the alignment of the front wheels is off. When we received it the wheels were fine. I don't think anyone stepped on the car or played with it roughly. It's disappointing that it would break so quickly! Now it only rolls down the tack if I put it on backwards. I know there were a couple of other complaints but those have not been problems for us: Buzz does attach to the car but it attaches using a clear piece that is very easy to miss when removing everything from the package and buzz/car does go through the loop if the track is attached on something that is at least 30 inches tall. I am just surprised that the car broke already. I gave three stars because of how much my son enjoys it but it needs to be more durable.

My six year old got this for Christmas and absolutely loves it! Simple assembly and he loves putting it in different rooms in the house. Of course it works well with other Hot Wheels products too. Lots of fun and great value!

I wasn't expecting much when I ordered this for my 2 year old. Even after I opened the box I was skeptical. After putting it together by my 8 year old, we had so much fun playing with it. Not only did Buzz go "to infinity and beyond!" so did his other hot wheels/matchbox cars. Would definitely buy again. For my 2 year old boy or my 8 year old girl. We all love it!

Ordered two of this for Xmas one for my child and the other one for his cousin. I was not too sure that Buzz Lightyear could make the loop...but he does, to the delight of my kid :) The other great thing about it is that the other Hotwheels cars also work well with the set up adding to more use and fun with this simple toy. I am almost tempted to order 10 more, to distribute as birthday gifts to classmates throughout the year...

The loop the loop is standard Hot Wheels product and is fine. Unfortunately the car is poor quality and the one we received would not make it through the loop (even though many other of our cars did fine). I would not recommend this set.

its fine except the 'car' we recieved has no where 2 attach 'buz' to.. i complained , amazon was wonderful and sent me a new one for free, and still no where on the car to 'attach' Buz to,, my son is still disappointed :(
