My son (just turned 4) just got this toy for his birthday. He had gotten some money as a gift, so we went shopping, and this is what he picked out. It was easy to put together, and he is having a blast with it. I admit I find it fun too! Just make sure you have extra cars!

My Four year old son got this toy for christmas from Santa. He was frusterated with it very fast. It is fun as long as i or my husband are there to help set it up, my son wants to set it up himself but has difficulty. The track is kinda tricky, it has three parts that have to be set up everysingle time. it needs three cars for each part and it only come with one car in box. I would have gotten a different set if i would have known this before hand.

This was bought for a gift to my 5 year old. He loves it and can place the cars himself and can re-set the dinos by himself as well. We also bought the attachments and have had fun playing it as a family. Would suggest getting the attachments as well, otherwise it is very simple and basic.

The T-Rex jumps at the car when it goes under him, sort of amusing. This doesn't function great, but it does function, most of the time. The T-Rex is spring activated, and getting it to latch back and then trigger correctly is a little difficult, for me as well as the kid. The kid playing with this is a fairly nimble fingered six year old. Some times after getting the T-Rex cocked and ready to go, he doesn't want to go. The car will hit the trigger and he'll ignore it. The T-Rex can also come loose from the base pretty easily. All of that aside, it works most of the time and is decently fun. I don't know how many times his jumping will amuse, but it works for now.

My almost-four-year-old got this toy for Christmas and played with it all day. He only needed a little coaching on how to reset the T-Rex skeleton, which dramatically jumps on cue. The combination of dinosaurs and cars makes it super appealling, and I love it that he can operate it himself and it doesn't require batteries.
