Hot Wheels Trick Tracks Spin Wrecker Starter Set

My sons, 5 and 2 1/2, love the trick tracks. The only problem I have is that when a car is released from the hammer trick to the spin wrecker, sometimes the car doesn't hit hard enough to activate the spin wrecker itself. It needs a little nudge. Aside from that, my kids get a kick out it. They love watching the spin wrecker spin itself down, knock the cars off and send the one car flying aross the floor. The younger one needs a little help setting it up, but he is getting pretty good at it. I think it is a lot of fun.

I was so excited to get this toy for my son. I could not be more disappointed. About the only saving grace is that I was able to return it with no charge. The first time we tried it it didn't work, the spinner spins so slow that it doesn't launch the car. There is definitely a learning curve. Once we figured out which cars to put where then it worked. Unfortunately after my son played with it for about a half a day, the thing just broke. It no longer worked as it was supposed to so we returned it. Such a bummer because the few times it did work my son loved it! Unfortunately I would say to stay away from this toy!!

My 10 year old son loves this track. At first we had a hard time getting it together, but after he fiddled with it, it works great. He added some of his own track too.

This toy is fun but there are big chances of losing all the pieces as they are so loosely held

My 6yr old LOVES trick tracks and has almost the entire set. He just added this one to his collection and it has not disappointed. The configurations he comes up with by adding all the tracks together are amazing and usually take up the entire family room floor. I believe this has a decent educational value only because of the thought process it takes to put everything all together to make it work when using multiple tracks.

My 4 yr old enjoyed this Spin Wrecker starter kit, along with other trick tracks we have. However, the majority of the time, the car doesn't hit hard enough to activate the spin wrecker. As with most hot wheels trick track toys, he has to try different cars to find one that works with each particular toy, which is frustrating and ridiculous. I would say, too pricey, but 4 yr old played with for awhile.
