This book provides a manifesto for the Why, What, When, Where, How and Who of agility. Using stories from his experiences as a manager, executive and CEO in the Oil and Gas, Aerospace and Automotive industries, Mike Richardson explores agility in everyday terms. 5.0 out of 5 stars A Breakthrough on the Agility Agenda November 4, 2011
Format:Hardcover|Amazon Verified Purchase
Mike Richardson has provided the senior executive an excellent guidebook for meeting the agility challenge. Mike successfully makes the case for Agility skills as "must have" capabilities. Mike's recipes are some of the first concrete prescriptions I've seen for meeting the ever-increasing "dynamic complexity" challenges. Mike's book is pioneering Agility best practices.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Book to Chew and Digest November 9, 2011
Format:Hardcover|Amazon Verified Purchase
Mike Richardson's book delighted me with both interesting stories and provocative new concepts. He provides fresh metaphors on what is in essence a systems thinking approach to strategic management. It's not a breezy read, you have to read actively and think deeply to appreciate and utilize his concepts. As Sir Francis Bacon once put it, "Some books are to be tasted, others to be swallowed, and some few to be chewed and digested: that is, some books are to be read only in parts, others to be read, but not curiously, and some few to be read wholly, and with diligence and attention." Mike`s book falls into the chew and digest category.
