Good suspense, good action!,
By A Customer
This review is from: When You Call My Name (Silhouette Intimate Moments) (Paperback)
Excellent story! Starts out with the hero, Wyatt Hatfield, having a car accident. He goes off the side of a mountain, and is close to death. The heroine, Glory Dixon, is a psychic and sees the accident happen as she's trying to go to sleep. She rushes to the hospital where she donates blood for Wyatt's blood transfusion. And it's something more than a blood transfusion that links Wyatt to Glory. He's able to hear her call for help without speaking a word. He immediately goes to Kentucky to save her from danger.Good suspense, good action! Definitely kept me turning the pages. This is a definite keeper, and I plan to try and track down Sharon's past work as well. Reviewed by SLS 11/25/96

#2 - FOLLOW-UP TO MIRACLE MAN,
By
This review is from: When You Call My Name (Silhouette Intimate Moments) (Paperback)
Oh, if only we could meet these kind of men --- do they really exist?Wyatt Hatfield, one of Toni's seven brothers, has left Tennessee after Toni and Lane's wedding and runs into a blizzard in Kentucky. Glory Dixon's introduction to Wyatt was when she sensed his need of her. She carried his rare blood match and saved his life. By this time the story has taken ahold of you. We meet Glory's brother J.C and her father, who have nicknamed her "Mornin' Glory". J.C.'s friend Edward Lee shows up to help Wyatt and Glory, and he doesn't come alone, wait till you meet his father. Wow! The mystery that has endangered Glory is so disconnected to her that it keeps you wondering how it will all connect up -- The story and the pace is great. Although I will say that Toni had a purpose but ----- HIGHLY RECOMMENDED -- good mystery - great pace - definitely a keeper.

Great,, Great Book,

I really liked this book. I usually spend 3 to 4 hours a day on the computer. The day I read this book, my computer was not turned on. That should show you how good it was. I loved the characters. Ms. Sala put romance, mystery and familly relationships into this book. As for the mystery, you knew early in the book who the culprit was, but that did not stop the book from being a good mystery. You have to read it to find out why. As I said------Great, GREAT BOOK.

First, just let me say "If Sharon writes it, it's to be read."
Wyatt and Glory are very easy characters to care about. Tragedy in the story was a little unsettling for me, but all in all--it was an excellent book and very well crafted. As I used to be in a writers' group with Sharon--I've read every book she's written since her first, Sara's Ange, was published. While she wouldn't likely remember me from good old Oklahoma, I certainly have always remembered her. I've never been disappointed in one of her books. It's rare for a storyteller to always hit the mark, and Sharon just always does. If you like a little paranormal thrown in with your romance--you'll love When You Call My Name. Be sure to find all of Sharon's wonderful titles. I will always be one to purchase anything she writes--not just because I used to know her--but because I know I'm not going to be disappointed. To date, I never have been. A last aside for aspiring writers out there: Read Sharon's books. She writes also as Dinah McCall. Her books are wonderful and she writes many different types of romantic fiction.

This is a really good book. It is a follow up to The Miracel Man (1995) also written by Sharon Sala. You don't need to read that book first, and i didn't click that it was a follow up untill about half way through, but once i did i understood the story line more.
A good book, but buy it with The Miracel Man if i was you.

I read this book along time ago but will re-read it on occasion. This book is beautifully written. While reading it there are many points of deep sadness which always make me cry. There are many sections which are so moving and heart wrenching. This story never lags and is very special. I will always keep this book.

I loved this book. The hero and heroine are riddled with faults and yet, are perfect for loving eachother. Ms.Sala did a great job with tragedies, love and romance. This is a book to curl up to.
