I recently found this book when looking for a project to incorporate my favourite William Morris fabrics. This book is beautiful! Great photos! The feature quilt shown in the front of the book has four full size photos of the same quilt in two different colour ways and block arrangement. Each block also has a full page size photo. There are no surprises as to the finished product. As you continue searching through the book there are other wonderful quilts. My favourites being "Holly and Mistletoe" and "Trick or Treat", after the feature quilt "Love Letters". I know I will not be making just one quilt from this book!!! There are so many period reproduction fabrics available now and they lend themselves perfectly to the patterns Barb and Alma have created. Thank you Barb and Alma for your beautiful creativity!

A friend has this book, when I saw hers I fell in love with it! Had to have it. The appliques are on the large size so this book would be great for a beginner that wants to master the "A" word. This book has many projects to keep you motivated all winter long!

Wow - each page has more beautiful appliques than the one before - I want to try each one in differnt colorways! The photographs invite you in, and the instructions are very clear. The blocks are large - not too complicated. This is an appliquer's delight! I would highly recommend this book if you enjoy applique (you do have to enlarge the patterns). I will certainly be looking for future books from these talented quilters!!

An excellent book for quilters--innovative designs, easy to follow patterns,excellent color ideas by two fabulous quilters.

This book is absolutely lovely. The Christmas quilt in there is super as well as several others. If have seen them all made up by friends. If you love old fashioned things, and the designs of Barb and Alma...you will love this book. I can't wait to get started. Happy stitching.

I purchased this book for a future class, I saw what some ladies had made from it
and was very impressed

If I had been able to see contents of the book beforehand I don't believe I would have bought it. I still gave it 3 stars.

I received this book in perfect condition and it was shipped within the time frame.
