Sequels are often disappointing. Sometimes the author has said everything there is to say about the characters and their story in the first book; sometimes the author reworks characters to fit a new story and the personalities of the original characters get lost. Sabra Steinsiek has avoided these pitfalls in "When That Time Comes". This marvelous book can stand alone as a compelling story that keeps your interest from the first page to the last while staying true to the very human characters introduced in "Timing is Everything". The second book leaves you eager to revisit Taylor, Laura, Meg, Betta, Annie and the rest of the wonderfully real characters as their adventures continue in the third book of the trilogy - I can't wait!
