This book provides valuable and necessary information that creates a real foundation for understanding basic criminal law. Many of people, in particular youth, have a misguided and confused view of how the legal system works based on they experiences with many popular television shows. The book provides a balance for individuals regardless of socioeconomic background between tomfoolery and perpetrating a real crime. Easy to read and discuss this makes it an excellent book for young people. It informs them now on the real aspects of law and not the glossed over scenarios they see on TV.

Finally there's a book about crime and the law that kids can understand. The authors use everyday language and clear illustrations to show how commonplace situations can land you a criminal record! I like the fact that it's written by lawyers for kids (although I'm an adult, and I think it will stay on my bookshelf!). I highly recommend this book. If you know a mischievous kid, buy it!

I highly recommend this book to anyone. I purchased this book a month ago, and I was able to read the book in a matter of hours. The authors of the book do a profound job of breaking down complex legal terms into teachable easy to read language. Teachers and parents can utilize this book to craft effective lessons for students individually, as well as, group lessons.

Another advantage of this book is that the authors utilize artwork to convey the legal information. Because I am starting law school this Fall, I have been reading a great deal of legal books that are available to consumers on the market. Few if not all of these books have no graphical images. The artwork is another bonus, because they are tasteful yet relevant images that reinforce learning.

Bottomline, if you are looking for a great legal resource guide to learn more about your legal rights, as it relates to things regarding a criminal nature, this is a great book to purchase!

This book is a must have for the young and old. The authors took their time is explaining every little detail bout the some important situations that a person can get caught up in. I really enoyed how they illustrated certain activities. I highly recommend this book for everyone to read. I can't wait til they put out another book. Great job, guys.
