This book does for mothers and daughters undergoing the parallel paroxysms of divorce what no other forum can accomplish: it respects the reality that no child can experience divorce as her mother does, just as no mother can really understand her daughter's experience. It offers touchy teens the private world of a book to explore the experience through the eyes of others. My daughter found it hip and helpful...which I only know because I overheard her passing it on to a friend. Soulful, sensitive and SANE....I recommend it highly. If nothing else, the fact that a Mom and daughter wrote this TOGETHER gives hope and inspiriation to those undergoing the worst and lonliest moments of a potentially liberating transition.
