I am fortunate to have experienced Candy Finnigan's experience, strength and hope in person. I adore her huge heart and have often been deeply moved by her tears of joy when she listens to someone she has helped share about their recovery.

I'm so glad she has written a book so that people around the world can benefit from what she has so freely given to recovering addicts. There is nothing an alcoholic or addict can put over on Finnigan! Trust me. She always has an answer for every excuse, every "Yes, but..." She's amazing. She's a gift. She is Blessed. And she's heard 'em all!

This is the second copy I am buying - the first was for a family who needed it - this one is for me, even after 20 years in recovery. If you think you know someone who is having problems with addiction - - please buy this book. You may just save a life- like Candy has.

5.0 out of 5 stars Insightful & Truthful, December 12, 2008
The author, Candy Finnigan, is known personally by me. She really knows her subject and is highly qualified to advise. The book is beautifully written. I recommend it highly for anyone dealing with a loved/lost one caught up in the hell of addiction, especially alcohol.

5.0 out of 5 stars When Enough is Enough, April 15, 2008
If you suspect that you might be "loving them to death", you probably are. This book offers hope. Organized, experienced, well trained and focused hope for those of us who love someone whose life has become unmanageable.

5.0 out of 5 stars intervention, July 13, 2009
By
I watch Intervention every Monday night. I still watch the reruns over and over. I am 58 years old and just starting to get my CASAC. For many years I was an LPN. I am a recovering Alcoholic. My favorite person on the show is Candy Finnergan. I feel like I identify with her in many ways. Some people where I work think I'm to much of a softee at times, but with recovery comes love. I will not " love them to death either." But I make sure they know I love them. Thank You Candy for this book. I have passed it on to my supervisor to read also. I loved every page.
Sincerely,
Ann Albright

5.0 out of 5 stars Help for families and professionals, October 29, 2010
Candy Finnigan's book is one I recommend to families in my private practice and to students in my classes in the Master's program for addiction counseling. This book is a back to basics guide for everyone from a woman who does this work because her heart calls her to work from a place of love and her spirit leads her to make a difference in individual lives, whole families and thus the world.

Blessings to her and all she touches.

5.0 out of 5 stars Everyone should have this book., September 28, 2010

This review is from: When Enough is Enough: A Comprehensive Guide to Successful Intervention (Paperback)
Whether you think you may need this book, you know you need this book or you know nothing of the subject you should read this book. If I had read this book years ago my eyes would have been open to what was happening right in front of me and been able to set a better intervention plan earlier or made a decision whether I wanted to be involved. It's good education whether you feel you need it or not.

5.0 out of 5 stars excellent used book, February 2, 2009

There is always a question of whether a used book will look like a used book. The book I received from this distributor was beyond excellent in it's description. Thanks so much!
