About the Author
Nathalia Zongo was born in Burkina Faso, West Africa. After the assassination of President Tomas Sankara, her father became a refuge and was missing from her life for seven years. She is currently attending Brookhaven College in Dallas, Texas. The publication of this book is the culmination of her lifelong dream.

This is a story of pain, agony, and triumph! It shows the true human spirit. It is an encouragement to single moms who are struggling and is a wonderful insight into how difficult it is to have an absent father. It also conveys that, even when things happen in our lives that we have no control over, we still have the ability to make decisions for a better life for ourselves. I thoroughly enjoyed the walk through Nathalia and
her family's life and am truly amazed that she has only been in this country for three years and has published her first book.
