I so enjoyed reading this uplifting book. It was an outstanding combination of inspiring stories and truly thought-provoking messages from a diverse range of contributors. In a world where crises rule the headlines and pessimism guides so many conversations, the opportunity to sit down with a book that explores the personal nature of spirituality is truly a treat. I found myself savoring each page and creating both an internal dialogue and sparking engaging conversations with others about the presence of God in our lives. With so many of my readers and clients seeking more depth in their spiritual journey, this will be a book I refer to them time and time again to confirm the very personal nature of spirituality and their relationship with God.

I ordered this book because it came highly recommended from women I trust. I later realized that they likely were promoting a friend and presumably had not read the book. The stories are ordinary, most are elementary, and they're written in "cutespeak." Most of the stories can be read in a minute or two, so there's no depth, and most feel manipulative. If you are at the very beginning of a spiritual quest, this book might be useful. If you've advanced a little along your path, you're beyond this book. If you're feeling despair and looking for some solace, this book might help, but there are many others that will serve your needs better.

We all need to learn how to speak less - and listen more. As someone who has heard that Inner Voice speaking to me, I could definitely relate to the people whose stories I read. For those people who rely strictly on their intellect and rationalization, this book could be a real wake-up call!

I found 'When God Spoke to Me' a very inspiring and uplifting book. It is very easy to read with the personal stories being only a couple of pages or so. Each person's experience had me racing the 'sandman' every night, while I would tell myself 'just a couple more pages and then I will stop.' I can honestly say I was 'caught up,' and looked forward all day long to getting back to the book. I truly appreciate the transformation I have experienced as I consciously listen for the Voice of Love each day now. Thank you for the most joyous, heart-felt, soul-stirring experiences I have ever read.

After reading this book I felt a sense of peace, love and contentment. It was comforting to read about ordinary people having divine experiences. This inspirational book allowed me to reconnect with a sense of knowing I carry inside myself.

This book is wonderful. It is amazing to read so many stories about people who have had spiritual experiences which they can attribute to God. Some of the stories are like miracles and some are about the person's spiritual journey and how they went from mediocre or non believer, to believing that there is more to life than they first thought. The insights and personal stories are all fascinating and it shows that your quest to find God can come in many different ways and under a myriad of unusual circumstances.

This is definitely a book worth reading.
