This book gives examples of things that have happened in people's lives that have had special meaning to them. Some of the stories (all short) gave me goosebumps and made me smile (and get teary eyed), and some of them I didn't find especially appealing to me but didn't really mind reading. The God winks are categorized by such topics as "loss," "family," "job," and so on. Some topics may resonate with you more than others.
Some of my favorites: the family who lost a talented young daughter to a tragic accident... the father asked God for a sign that his daughter was OK, then for a sign that his daughter was with God - and the answers were pretty awesome. Another was the story of Emmitt (sp.?) Kelly (I think that's his name - the artist who did the crying clowns) - just really amazing. I'd give you details but don't want to ruin the surprise.
What I got from the stories in addition to inspiration, feeling good, etc., was a reminder to notice the God winks in MY life - I've begun writing them down and realizing that they're important to remember and be thankful for.

If you are looking for something to lift your spirits and make you aware of all the wonderfilled things around you, this is the book for you. It hleped me focus on the little angel messages that are put in my path each day that I wasn't aware of -- the author's upbeat, enthusiastic style of writing is infectious and encouraging and much needed in these perilous times. I highly recommend it to lighten one's burden and give you a fresh way of looking at daily events and seeing the larger, long-range picture.

It's called a God wink. This book tells you how to find them and tap into them and make them work for you. The author is witty and funny and brilliant at weaving stories together that make you think "Hey, that's me he's writing about!"

I urge you...run...don't walk...and buy this book NOW! It will change your life!

This little book is a tremendous book to share the presence of God working in our lives. It is a very easy book to read (like eating chips), incidents in various lives of celebrities and ordinary people that are too powerful and miraculous to be "coincidence"... after reading, you become so much more aware of how God has "winked" at you through His actions. It is exciting to suddenly be aware that God is actually working in various incidents in your life. I've given 18 books away so far, and the recipients are excited about sharing their copy with others -- a "pass-along" book. I intend to buy 10 more soon, so I can share with whomever God "winks" into my path. This has become a "book ministry" -- glorifying Him through passing along books.

I saw Squire on Fox News one morning and thought this book is for me. I was not disappointed. This book reminds us all that their are no coincidences. Anyone who reads this book will recall many times when things happened to them and they thought "I can't believe this happened to me!". It reminds you that there is a higher being watching out for all of us. You won't be disappointed in this easy to read book and it will bring new light into your life. "God winks in love" is also a book by SQuire. A good book to read before entering into a new realtionship.

I purchased this book for gifts and everyone truly enjoyed them. How many times in your life have you ever said Wow what a Coincidence? God has things all lined up for us if we pay attention! This was an uplifting and comforting little book. Enjoy!

A dear friend gave me this book right after I had breast cancer surgery. I allowed myself to read two entries a day, but because it was so inspiring to me, I couldn't wait for the next day's installment! God has blessed me so much in my life with his "winks", so I could relate to most every story. After completing the book, I decided this book was going to be my good friends' birthday or Christmas gifts--I ordered a dozen copies! I have given away two already, and their responses were the same as mine! Frequently after reading a favorite book, I pass it along to my friends. This is a great short read on the miracles that impact our lives every day...many of which we don't understand until years later!

I loved this book! Gave many copies to friends and strangers. Some of the incidences are just absolutely incredible yet true! Have had one or two inexplicable events myself which made me think I should write my own book! One of these days.....

This book captured me from the start to finish.The stories were amazing about what might look coincidental were undeniably meant to be. Truly inspiring.
