Everytime I listen to this album, I love the songs even more. "House of the Lord," brings back that good ole gospel sound that's been missing in gospel music lately. "Anoitning" and "The Throne of Mercy," will anoint your entire body, making you wave your hands, and jump to your feet saying "Thank You, Jesus". The rest of the album, with the music and as well as the messages are just as wonderful, for example, the testimonial songs, "The Shepherd's Song" and "Things Go Better With Christ" invites those who don't know Christ and who aren't saved to come and give your life to the Lord. You don't have to take my word on this, buy this album and listen to what your ears and your soul have been missing.

As a childrens choir director of almost 20 yrs, I would think I know a little something, something about music greatness. My prayer is that you allow God to continue to use just as he see's fit. GOD IS LOOKING FOR REALISM NOT CUTENESS.IT'S REALLY DISAPPOITING TO SEE ADULTS PUTTING DOWN ON CHILDREN. ESPECIALLY WHEN THEY'RE DOING SOMETHING FOR THE LORD. THE MCC IS A GREAT GROUP OF YOUNG PEOPLE. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK MCC.

I have this on cassete and even though i only like a few of the songs its completly worth buying it just so i can hear those songs when ever I want. I especially the song I'm Blessed. I definitly advise anyone who is looking to hear decent music to buy this cd.

This is a wonderful cd that we had at one time and gave away. I bought it again, and it brought back so many great memories. The songs are so encouraging to children and adults alike. A great CD for the family to have and keep!

this was not the version of the song i was looking for....but i believe i made the mistake in ordering this particular cd

Hon, can I ask you something, one sweet question. Do you think God is cute? I mean, do you think God is trying to be cute when he's blessing somebody with something? Well, I just don't think these children are trying to be "cute" while praising him.

I didn't discover Mississippi Childrens Choir until I was getting ready to go to church on Easter Morning and they showed a video of the Choir singing "I'm Blessed". And they told the truth when they said that. I mean to tell you something, listening to all those children sing like that will send chills all over you. But those are good chills just to let you know.

This is the best CD by MCC. Unlike the other reviewer, I found the kids to be anointed. The soloists are splendid. I think they are quite professional. And there is a variety of songs, ranging from traditional to contemporary. It is hard to believe someone would find this CD lacking. This is their best work to date!!!
