I normally don't take the time to write reviews, but I loved this novel it was such an interesting read. I found it to be edgy, yet romantic. Once I picked it up I couldn't put it back down. I like the Author's style, he paints a very vivid picture of early nineties Street life in Dallas. It really took me back with the music and clothes. Also, it was refreshing to find a story written from a young black man's perspective that shows a man's intermost feelings when dealing with relationships with not only women, but his friends as well. This story is a testiment that bad decisions shouldn't have to follow you your whole life. That at a point we can all overcome our past. I can't wait for the next book!

This book was a good read from beginning to end. I recommend it is worth buying, you won't be dissapointed.

Where do I begin. This book took me way back to my high school days. I enjoyed it from beginning to end. I felt as if I was one of Will's friends. Does Will end up with Sheryl? I grew up in Dallas and felt like I knew all of the charters personally. Great writing.

The cover of the book is very eye catchy. This is one of the things that drew me to the book. When you see the cover you think scary or the arthur has a secret he wants to share. The book is very detailed not long and drawn out. The arthur keeps you wondering just when you think you know whats going to happen next it takes a different turn.

I thought this book was very interesting. The Author was good at letting you get to know the characters. I felt the character Nikki was typical of some females I know. Will was naive in the beginning but when the crap hit the fan he opened up and handled things like a man should or would. Over all it was a good read. A funny and sometimes sad story. It has points with suspense and points with erotic pleasure. I would recommend this book.
