Although there is no real way to tell someone how to cope when they lose a grandchild, this book is a good start down the path. I can't write too much about this - too painful. But if, God forbid, you find yourself or someone you know in this terrible situation,there is not a lot out there for the pain of grandparents who grieve for their grandchild and for the pain their child is experiencing - this book WILL help. My sister lost her 4 month old grandson who was born 3 months premature. He lived for four months, and as any grandmother knows, his death was extremely sad and difficult to cope with. My sister found this book very helpful and allowed her to understand the grieve she was feeling and also allowed her to be more helpful to her daughter.
