Based On A True Story

A powerful and effective tool "And When He Didn't Come Home" will lead, guide, direct and be a supportive measure to parents whose child has been diagnosed with autism. This book provides a necessary psychological remedy for parents as such, offering them hope in a world that has suddenly become filled with hopelessness and despair.

From the medical profession to the everyday housewife, people from all walks of life will be touched as they journey along the countless battles and struggles faced by the parents of an autistic child. They will laugh and they will cry, but even greater, they will understand the plight and burdens of parents with a child who is different. This book will challenge, motivate and inspire all parents to accept and love their children just as they are.

This review is from: And When He Didn't Come Home (Paperback)
This book was average - of course the heart of a mom is always good to read about - but there were things in this book that made it drag a bit...overall, though, it was a good book for other moms of children with autism to read.
