5.0 out of 5 stars When Hello Means Goodbye, March 15, 2000

This review is from: When Hello Means Goodbye (Paperback)
I recieved this book while in the hospitol after delivering our stillborn son. I read this book over and over. It was a great help to me in the days shortly after I went home. It is a great comfort to know others cared enough about future parents that they could give so much of themselves to write a book about something so personal....after 7 years I share this book with others that I come into contact with that have experienced a loss. This book is a must for parents to have in a time when nothing makes sense.

5.0 out of 5 stars A comfort when nothing else could..., March 6, 2001
By
This review is from: When Hello Means Goodbye (Paperback)
Since our daughter was stillborn 7 weeks ago I have read just about every book I could find on perinatal loss. This one was sent to me by the nurse reviewing my hospital stay for my insurance company and it was the best. I found it very comforting and insightful and I've read it several times. It was short and easy to focus on in spite of the shock I was experiencing. I liked it because it dealt specifically with late pregnancy losses and the associated shock, grief, and heartbreak. It is a good gift for someone who is experiencing this catastrophe.

5.0 out of 5 stars I could not have made it without this book, January 11, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: When Hello Means Goodbye (Paperback)
When my son, Dylan, was stillborn my sister-in-law gave me the book "When Hello Means Goodbye" I must have read it 100 times. It helped me to deal with a pain that no one I knew at the time could possible understand. It is in a box with the momentos I have of my sons short life and will always be cherished.
