5.0 out of 5 stars Macrobiotic Miracle, January 29, 2001
This review is from: When Hope Never Dies: One Woman's Remarkable Recovery from Cancer--And the Natural Program That Saved Her Life (Paperback)
For those interested in an alternative to cold blooded chemotherapists who see you as walking body bag or chemistry set and to touchy feely New Age mystics wanting to massage your cancerous aura, this is a great book. The first half is the story of a successful financial analyst, Mommy (4 kids), and Roman Catholic in Rhode Island and her adventure following her diagnosis with terminal malignant melanoma. The second half is a handy introduction to macrobiotics with a complete reference guide at the end. She has been cancer free for fifteen years now.
