I have been a fan of Shanice's since the late '80s when she released "Can You Dance" & "No Half Steppin'". Although, it's only the album version that is on the CD single, the song still is a nice jam. It's a song you can listen to over and over to and never get tired of it.

this is shanice's 1st single off her 2nd album."when i close my eyes" is great. this import has the album verison of "when i close my eyes" and the instrumneal verison.also has clips from the upcoming album "shanice".like "you need a man" and more.you have to pick up this import single cuz it is worth every penny.

I've thought Shanice was talented ever since 'I Love Your Smile', but was disappointed by this mediocre song. It borrows way too much from other r&b songs and the lyrics are unoriginal, even though Shanice sings them well. The Snippets sound good, though.
