I find it criminal that there are no reviews for these tracks. "When I'm with you" is the first thing i've heard in a long time on KEXP that immediately sent me scrambling for a pen and paper to write down the track name.
Recalling early My Bloody Valentine, Mazzy Star, Liz Phair, even a touch of neko case, then putting her own poppy power chord twist on things, Bethany Cosentino's vocals strike a chord with me, and these two tracks are easily on par with my favorite tracks of any of those acts. so if any of those acts spoke to you, then you owe it to yourself to give Best Coast a listen.
