Review

Based upon lessons learned, Phyllis Zuccarello takes you on a journey of life, love and self-discovery in her book When the Lights Are on but Nobody's Home. With each passage, the author entices readers to enter a world of deep thought and reflection upon the path they ve taken in life and the one that s yet to come. The book is divided into three segments which represent different stages of the author's life. From words of wisdom to friendship and appreciation for life s true gifts, readers can benefit tremendously from the never ending gift of unlocking the mystery to living the most fulfilling life possible. This is a book that could and should be read and reread on a regular basis to remind us all of what life is all about. If you're looking for something to inspire and empower you this would be the book to read. --Tasya Grabenstein - Researcher/Writer --This text refers to an out of print or unavailable edition of this title.

ANOTHER TITLE FOR THIS BOOK COULD BE "YOUR DAILY DOSE OF COMMON SENSE".
THIS BOOK IS DOWN TO EARTH EASY READING THAT TAKES YOU THROUGH LIFES JOURNEY OF UP'S & DOWN'S, PAST & PRESENT THAT MOST EVERYONE CAN RELATE TO. IT CAN HELP YOU RE-FOCUS ON WHAT'S IMPORTANT OR SHOULD BE IMPORTANT. IT SHOWS YOU LIFE'S CIRCUMSTANCES CAN GET YOU DOWN SOMETIMES BUT DON'T LET THEM KEEP YOU DOWN. LEARN FROM THEM & GO ON. TRIALS & TRIBULATIONS ARE PART OF LIFE AND IT'S HOW YOU HANDLE THEM THAT COUNTS. WORRYING ABOUT WHAT'S GOING TO HAPPEN NEXT IS A WASTE OF TIME. LIFE IS SHORT, ENJOY IT. ENJOY THE PEOPLE THAT GOD PUTS IN YOUR LIFE, LOVE THEM, FORGIVE THEM & DON'T JUDGE THEM. THAT'S NOT YOUR JOB. THIS IS WHAT PHYLLIS IS SAYING THROUGHOUT THIS BOOK. GREAT JOB PHYLLIS! HOPE YOU HAD A BLESSED MOTHER'S DAY.

This fun, inspiring book on life is one I would most definitely recommend to everyone who enjoys Self-Help books & poety. Phyllis Zuccarello shares her life lessons with common sense & touching poems. This book is one everyone can read and take something out of & apply to their own lives. This book can help you through tough times, make you laugh & touch your heart. It also helps us realize that no matter what our situation, we are all in this life together! Read it & pass it along to all the folks you care about! My mom read Phylliss' book also & just fell in love with it. Definitely a GREAT read!

We all seem to be wandering aimlessly on this Big Blue Planet, and none of us truly know why we are here. However, this book touches each of us on a profound, yet simple level. The things our hearts yearn for are written in these simple passages. When you find yourself looking for a reason you are alive, here too you can look. If we each took just a few minutes each day to reflect on that which matters most, maybe we could make things better. It is nice to be able to pick up this book and find within the pages what is in each and every one of us, and remember all the good things life has to offer.

UNBELIEVEBLY WELL WRITTEN. PHYLLIS HAS AN ABILITY TO PUT THOUGHTS AND FEELINGS ON PAPER THAT MAKE YOU FEEL SHE IS LOOKING INTO YOUR SOUL. SHE IS GIFTED IN BEING ABLE TO WRITE WORDS THAT ARE SIMPLE BUT WITH DEEP MEANING. PAGE 77 "FOR JUST ONE DAY" WAS SO WELL WRITTEN---IT TOUCHED MY HEART TO THE POINT OF TEARS.

THANK YOU PHYLLIS FOR ALL THE TIME AND EFFORT YOU PUT INTO THIS BOOK. IT IS ONE I WILL KEEP IN MY LIBRARY FOREVER.

I just now turn 14, and all the books I've been reading lately are all not realistic. Out of the ordinary and after a while I became very bored. Then I pick up the book "When the Lights Are on but Nobody's Home" and it hit home run on me. It actually made me understand more about life and yet to come. Now am prepared for life. This is a book you should read and learn from. The truth finally comes out.
