As a liturgical musician, I'm constantly searching for music to use throughtout the year as well as special occasions. Advertised for weddings, these selections can be used throughout the year. They have become even more meaningful having heard both Jeanne & David in concert and perform at workshops. I keep it in my CD changer. Once you listen, you'll want it for your own as well.

This is a wonderful collection of very singable songs, many of which we've used with our assemblies as well as for performance by our Folk Ensemble and soloists. Of the 24 songs featured, I quickly note 13 we use *regularly* for weddings. As mentioned by another reviewer, many of these songs could be used for weekly church services. If there's a lovelier, more lush with harmony and good for assembly participation version of Psalm 34, I don't know it. ;) BTW a spiral bound accompaniment book for piano, guitar and vocal exists. My copy is tattered and obviously well used. I purchased mine as a part of a Wedding Planning Kit put out by GIA. It also contained a separate book with words to all of the songs, suggestions for readings to be used at the service and much more. Very valuable planning aid!!

I would HIGHLY recommend this collection to anyone preparing for a wedding, particularly a Catholic wedding. For listening pleasure, I'd recommend it to EVERYONE, period.

Very beautiful music from very talented people. I wish this had been available when we were planning our wedding!
