Scott A. Johnson has a Master's Degree in Counseling & Psychological Services from St. Mary's College. He is a Licensed Psychologist (Minnesota), A Diplomate of the American Board of Psychological Specialties in Forensic Psychology, Academy Certified Diplomate of the American Academy of Certified Consultants & Experts (2001), and a member of the American College of Forensic Examiners International. Mr. Johnson's company is Forensic Consultation. He has taught for over fifteen years at the undergraduate and graduate levels. He has over 25 years of experience, the focus of which involved forensic assessment addressing batterers and sexual offenders, providing expert testimony, and educating professionals. He is also the author of numerous journal articles, books chapters, and books, including Physical Abusers and Sexual Offenders: Forensic Considerations & Strategies (2007) and When "I Love You" Turns Violent (1993/2005). He currently teaches law enforcement and probation officers nationwide.
