I enjoyed this book. I felt like I was getting two stories and four lives entwined in one. The author did a great job conveying everyone's' emotions. Chapter one sets the pace for Cade and Sabrina in the story once their interaction begins.

Cade was definitely emotionless in the beginning as the story begins, which for me was good because I didn't want him to be perfect because he was a doctor. I will think his emotionless and stern state as a doctor and a person stems from his background. Sabrina is an advocate for patients at the same hospital Cade works for. Sabrina is very passionate about her job and this leads to their first encounter with each other with a great story about the past and what both Sabrina and Cade will endure.

I was excited about Kara, Sabrina's best friend. I always always always, find it a bonus when reading another story within a story. Tristan and Kara was a nice way to weave in and out between the main characters. Their encounter with each other was as interesting and good as it produced a nice chemistry.

You will not be disappointed with this story. I fell in love with everyone and the meaning behind the story. I expect no different from Francis Ray. Well done.

Storyline: GREAT
Enjoyment: GOOD

Francis Ray shows why she has so much staying power after all these years with this touching tale of fighting for love even when it seems love won't love you back. The main characters had a level of depth and complexity that kept me glued to the pages to find out how their lives would turn out.

I found it hard to like Cade in the beginning. I know he had a rough childhood but I wanted him to embrace all the goodness that came his way. Sabrina fought so hard to win his love I thought to myself is it worth it after you've had to fight this hard. Sabrina is depicted as a tenacious bulldog, she never gave up on Cade and the belief that he was the man for her. She really gave him something to live for and did it with pride while protecting his dignity. I wish there were real life people in the world with her outlook on life.

I loved Tristan. His need to protect Kara even against her mother was endearing. I found her to be a little too weak for me. I wanted Tristan to find a woman that would be his equal in every way he deserved, I am not 100% convinced that is Kara. Nevertheless, these two have chemistry and you felt for them as "underdogs". His mother Vera was a hoot.

Provoking a range of emotions is what a good book is supposed to do; this book did that for me. The pace and written word were well done. I felt the highs and lows of both relationships. I am always amazed at how much outside influences can play such a starring role in people lives. As always, and the reason I love romance novels, Love Conquers All.

Format: Paperback
Kara Simmons works as a Social Worker at Texas Hospital with Sabrina Thomas, who's a patient advocate. Rather than flying on the wings of her family prestige, Sabrina moved to another state so she could make a name for herself. She and Kara both are single and become fast friends and neighbors. Abuse has left both women emotionally stunned but each have a different way of handling their pain.

Dr. Cade Mathis is known for his straight-forward persona and business like beside manner, and he's the best neurosurgeon at Texas. His success is the end product of the demons that haunt him.

Tristan Landers begins and end his role as a supportive character however the role he plays in Kara's life and the life of Dr. Cade's patient quickly bumps him to one of the protagonist in this strongly written book that I absolutely recommend.

So much is happening in the lives of these four characters you will not be able to turn the pages fast enough so you can find out WHY.When Morning Comes, is a fast-paced novel with an underlying message of faith in God. The characters are believable and totally honest about their flawed and complex natures.

Each character had so many levels, as a reader it was fun peeling away until we got to their hearts, and those characters who showed their hearts up front keep us wondering what was next.Excellent read

Format: Paperback
Sabrina Thomas and Kara Simmons are the best of friends pursing rewarding careers, seeking to find love with a HEA attached to it. Sabrina set her sights on the ever-elusive Dr. Cade Mathis who may be a gift surgeon but he has no bedside manner. Kara gets in the line of sight of Tristan Landers and once he meets her he is determined to show her she is worth being loved.

While Cade tries to run for cover, Sabrina keeps up her pace to follow up. Sabrina is trying to prove that even though he did not have the best of life growing up he became something that everyone admires. Cade has bitterness he needs to let go of and Sabrina is right there to guide him. Both did grow up as adopted children but the difference of a loving home for Sabrina makes Cade even angrier toward his past.

Tristan introduces Kara and her stunning artwork to just the right people and begins the slow process of opening up doors for her. Kara has to fight off the brutal emotional attacks from her mother and start to believe she is worth more than the price of a dress at Dillards.

The four lives are connected in more ways than could ever be expected, with some great surprises and an awful discovery. While working through the highs and lows of any relationship you learn that you have to believe in the possible, fight the future, and embrace the gift of love when presented.

Francis Ray writes about all the complexities of a relationship and the wonderful road you take getting connecting with the love of your life.
