O'boy it's good!,

Tim O'Brien is a great find, and this is a great album. I'd heard 'Red on Blond' in a music store, bought it and loved it. So much so that I bought this album and I wasn't disappointed. I guess you'd classify Tim O'Brien as modern/folk/bluegrass, sometimes rockin' and sometimes jazzy. His vocals and musicianship are superb.

I have a number of Tim's CD's, but this one is my favorite, and the one I recommend to start with if you haven't listened to his stuff before.

Great album. Saw Tim do a performance of the Crossing with a dance troupe in Maryland...interesting show and made me a fan for the ages...anyway, check out Nickle Creek's cover of "on your way back down" which Tim does on this disc. Great song.
