I recommend this book to any Football or biography fan as well as to anyone who enjoys reading about someone who made a difference.
Vince Lombardi was an amazing man on many different levels, but he was also human and I felt like I had gotten to know him by the end of the book.
Simply put, Maraniss is a superb writer, and this book is so well researched I was continually amazed at the insights offered up by the author.
This is the best Packer book ever written. You will not be able to put the book down if you fit under any of these categories:
