5.0 out of 5 stars A great album, December 11, 2006
A Kid's Review
This is a classic UK82 album, right up there with the likes of GBH and Discharge. Nothing about this album doesn't rock. Spike your hair up and put on your leather jacket and boots for this one.

5.0 out of 5 stars any punk should own this album, June 21, 2008
I owned the Punk Singles Collection for years and finally decided to buy this and it was well worth it. Vicious Circle, Burn Em' Down, Attack, Juvenile, and Urban Rebel are the kind of songs that defined punk and are probably responsible for shaping into what it is today. The songs that you will not find on singles or best of really make this worth owning. BBCm Just Another Punk Band and When the Punks Go Marching In will have your fists in the air

4.0 out of 5 stars Hardcorcito, February 25, 2004
This review is from: When the Punks Go Marching In (Audio CD)
of course is a great album! not all songs, the track "when the punks go marching in" is the best, but pay attention to "BBC" is great and fast. This is the best cd you can get from the band, next album (Black Leather Girl) is not as good as this one, sounds like Metal (I hate metal). this band goes in the line of One Way System or Partisans.

This is definately one of my two favorite albums (and Chron Gen) you don't have to let the other guy be right. I know lots of todays youth who appericate Abrassive Wheels as much as I do. They reak of talent with songs that smack you in the face and say "Shut up and Pogo!" Hey don't listen to me just spange if you have to and buy it, ... it whatever.

5.0 out of 5 stars Incredible Punk, February 16, 2001

This review is from: When the Punks Go Marching In (Audio CD)
TODAY'S YOUTH WILL NEVER APRECIATE THE ENERGY THAT WAS PUT INTO PUNK LIKE THIS. IN THE "OLDEN" DAYS, WE WERE ONLY ABLE TO GET THIS ALBUM THROUGH BOOTLEG TAPES. THIS IS BY FAR THE BEST ABRASIVE WHEELS HAS TO OFFER. BBC, BURN EM DOWN ARE INCREDIBLE. BUT THE ANTHEM WHEN THE PUNKS GO MARCHING IN MAKES THIS 34 YEAR OLD YEARN FOR THE DAYS OF YORE. HAVING BEEN IN THE SCENE FROM ITS EARLY INCEPTION, THIS ALBUM BRINGS BACK MEMORIES OF YESTERYEAR BUT WILL ALSO MAKE THE YOUTH OF TODAY APPRECIATE TRUE HARDCORE. IT DOESN'T GET MUCH BETTER THEN THIS

5.0 out of 5 stars Apart from the title track this is great, April 24, 2004

(REAL NAME)
Looking from an objective point of view and not talking about musical talent or genre preferences this album should be the model for all copycat hardcore punk. This album is fast, pissed off, mostly untalented, and overall a perfect punk album. The original album gives us some of the catchiest tracks ever recorded for the Riot City record company, like Just Another Punk Rock band and Slaughterhouse. However this album doesn't stop with a classic punk album in fact it gives us a whole lot more. A total of seven bonus tracks appear on this album. These bonus tracks are better than the actual material on the album. So Slow and Urban Rebel are great punk songs; Urban Rebel is probably my favorite song on this cd. The Abrasive Wheels deliver all their songs really fast and really honestly too (as honest as punk rock goes). The only downside is the monotony of this album and the simply dreadful title track.
