About the Author

Dr. Brooks is Asst. Professor and Dept Head of Religion and Philosophy at Bethune-Cookman College in Daytona Beach, Fl. He received a B.A. in Secondary Education from the Univ. of Charleston, a Master of Divinity from Howard Univ., and a Ph.D. in Social Ethics from the Univ. of Denver. Dr. Brooks served in the USAF as a chaplain attaining the rank of Lt. Col. He also ministered for several years in the Far East and has served as an educator at several colleges and universities. He is currently pastor of Tree of Life Outreach Center.

Besides the Bible of course this is the BEST parenting guide you'll ever read!! I'm so sure of this that I'm buying several to hand out to parents of younger children. This kind of material is so needed for today's culture. There is not a single page that has been diluted down like so much of what you read nowadays. The Scriptures are used to totally back up what the Dr. is saying. I highly recommend this book to any parent that is serious about protecting and raising your little one in the Lord...Thank you Dr. Brooks for your thought provoking book. God Bless.
