This review is from: When Steam Ran the Clinchfield (Paperback)
If you love old photos of trains and especially steam engines, this book will definitely be worth your money. It starts out with a short, but to the point, summary of the The Clichfield Railroad and gets nothing short of better. Lots of excellent information including a map, track profile, timetables, locomotive roster, and locomotive yard and road seniority rosters. About anything you'd want to know. The pictures are fantastic too. All black and white photos and most of them are full page, 105 pictures in all! Everyhting you can imagine including derailments, going over bridges, and in the train yard. James Goforth created a masterpiece for old train enthusiasts with this one. Definitely worth every penny.
