5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful book!, April 7, 2008
This review is from: When a Stranger Calls You Mom: A Child Development and Relationship Perspective on Why Abused and Neglected Children Think, Feel, and Act the Way They Do (Paperback)
I normally don't write reviews, but wanted to say how wonderful this book is. I have been to Dr. Leslie's conference that accompanied this book and both she and the book are amazing - dead on in dealing with attachment issues. As a professional in the mental health field, her approaches have been most valuable in working with kids and their families with attachment issues. [...]
Good luck!

5.0 out of 5 stars A lifesaver!!, January 30, 2008
This review is from: When a Stranger Calls You Mom: A Child Development and Relationship Perspective on Why Abused and Neglected Children Think, Feel, and Act the Way They Do (Paperback)
This book is a lifesaver!! We adopted a boy from Russia three years ago and have had attachment issues from the beginning. Been thru therapists and gone to conferences. This book was more helpful than all the other books and therapists combined. What makes this book so great? Practical advice, something missing from other books and seminars. I highly recommend this book!!
