A Great Book on the 4 Seasons,
By Paul Martin (Waukesha, WI USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: When Summer Ends (Hardcover)
If you want your 3-7 year olds to understand the 4 seasons (winter, spring, summer, fall), this is about as good a book, as any.The story features a girl having a conversation with her mother in the beginning explaining, "When summer ends I will cry and cry." When her mother asks why, the daughter lists all of the things she loves about summer (watermelon, splashing in the pool, etc). Her mother then asks her about each successive season pointing out the things that she (and most children) loves about those seasons. The illustrations that accompany each season's features will have your children talking about what their favorite seasons are for days to come.
