One of the better cd's to come out in a while....My favorite song is Alone With You

This is the best courntry music cd released in the last 10 years. The new single "It Must Have Been Somethin' I Said," which is track 2, should be song of the year!

Sonny Burgess has outdone himself with this latest release. The title track "When in Texas" says it all! It's real country music that you will want to listen to over and over, and accelerate to passing gear! You must be careful, though, if you listen to this while driving! A real country and western fan can get carried away with this music.

I personally know this artist and have for years. He has played every venue you could imagine, but he treats each and everyone of them like he's singing at the Grand Ol Opry. He is truly a talented person who Nasville has been sleeping on for years!!!
I love every song on this CD but to pick my fave cut it'd be "I Keep It Under My Hat" it portrays a cowboys true feelings and in which how he'd hide them from the rest of the world. Sonny, love ya Man!!

Although this CD first came out 4 years ago, it's well worth getting today if you can. Home grown in Cleburne Texas, Sonny Burgess is a traditional Texas Country music singer with a great voice and a great country sound. If you're tired of Nash-pop, and long for the traditional Texas honky-tonk sound, you'll love the songs on "When in Texas". Although Sonny will be releasing a new CD shortly, this one is a classic.

Sonny is my favorite Country Music Singer. Ever since I got this CD, a few years ago, it has been in my CD player. I have even gotten all my friends hooked on this CD.
