Practical, organized like a reference book, with indexed topics. This book is a savior for parents who need to know "right now" what to do "this minute." A must --really.

Well done, very helpful, gives parents great insights! I think it helps you understand your child is going through a lot of changes and is still developing their mind and emotions -while we WANT to treat them like adults and they understand everything, they are still growing and dynamic people who want more freedom but don't always know how to handle it. Excellent insights, would recommend highly.

This book has saved my sanity and my relationship with my son. It provides insightful, non-judgemental and practical dos and don'ts for dealing with my day to day challenges parenting a teen. This is the toughest and scariest time I have experienced as a parent, however I will keep this book handy on the white knuckle ride and who knows?, I may look back on this time as my greatest achievement as a parent! Thank you Dr Bradley from our whole family.

I got so excited when I read this book I couldn't stop quoting from it for months!! It is one of those books that you go back to time and time again as things come up with your teen. I especially love the "DO THis"/ "Don't do That" sections...doesn't leave a parent wondering what to do.
I have recommended this book to parents over and over and over..wish I had it years earlier when my older children were teens! But it's never too late.
His ideas and ways to talk to kids work on twenty-somethings too!!
