5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent CD!, August 1, 2007
This review is from: When The Trumpets Call (Audio CD)
I'll have to admit that I'm a little biased in my opinion--I was one of the trumpet players on this recording. It was a very fun CD to record, and a great group to play with! I think it turned out very well and is a great CD.

4.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Wind Performance, July 6, 2000
This review is from: When The Trumpets Call (Audio CD)
It is not easy to have a wind performance recording and it is one of them. I myself played the 'Festive Overture' and I recognised its technical difficulties but the band has obviously overcome it.

I can also feel the surround sound from the CD when I was playing it in my Hi-fi. Nice performance & recording

3.0 out of 5 stars Do I have to write a title?, December 10, 2005
This review is from: When The Trumpets Call (Audio CD)
I can't get past the reverb on Southern Harmony. I've played Southern Harmony several times, and even in the best of concert halls it has never sounded like that. It sounded like they were playing in a high school gym. It drove me nuts! Other than that, it's a good group. Way to go on recording good material!
