As of late 2009 Interscope records Is planning on dropping Flipsyde from their label rather than dropping the new album. The new album "state of survival" was produced by Akon, and features an addition to flipsyde. I admit I downloaded The new album and this song in particular. They are both awful, trash, grabage. Terrible! Everything that I liked about Flypsyde on "We the people" is gone. The juxtaposition of acoustic guitar and rapping was a revelation! The lead singer and the rapper brought real grit to the music that made you feel as if you were a thug or something, (I'm not...) but it was a solid change from my normal music. But this new album has none of the originality, none of the grit, and NO acoustic guitar. Let one thing be clear, The first record had a target audience of 18 to 25 year old males, The new album has a target audience of 13 to 18 year old females. It sounds like every song on the radio, If that is your thing then this is your song and album...

When It Was Good will always be GREAT in my mind. The song is well written, I love the song and the meaning in it. On the technical side, the CD contains the Music Video! :-D As well as two remix versions aside from the album version. Chantelle is a good friend first digitally met on MySpace in 2004 or 2005, and finally met in person at a concert with Flipsyde in Sacramento last year. This group with Chantelle has great talent. I wish them the best!

first of all i thought i was buying an entire alblum and got the single with like 4 different verisions of the song that wasn't even good. I am very dissapointed as i WAS a huge Flipsyde fan =(

Love the song the female singer is one of my myspace friends and she is a very nice person and very beautiful lady inside and out. I can see her going far.
