When We All Get To Heaven by JMS Bell is a great story with real characters trying to live the Christian life. Almay Ryan grew up in a small town in South Carolina. Her parents, Allen and Mayora, instilled in her that submitting to God was the only way to go. Almay held true to her commitment until she met Steed Vance. He was the youngest son of Nell Vance. He was the black sheep of the family. Steed was known for being in the streets and doing whatever the streets allowed. That is, until he met Almay. Their love for each other allowed them to compromise. Steed gave his life back to Christ and began a honest job. Almay, however, sacrificed her relationship with Christ and her promise to her parents, by sleeping with Steed.

Bell tackles the people of "the church" and how they will betray you, talk behind your back, and treat you worse than your enemy. Almay and Steed have to face all of these things from their church family AND blood families. This book definitely has you reflecting on your own life and the choices you made. In the end, we see that God's way is the best way.

Wonderfully inspirational - from beginning to end. Holds the reader's interest throughout the entire novel. You won't be able to put it down!

It's a good job that I've bought me a copy of this book, which is really a nice piece of work. As soon as I began reading, it holds me! Indeed this book, when in hand, it's very hard to put down. It will be such a blessed day, "When we all get to heaven", Joyce!

It is about a forbidden love that captures your attention in the first few lines. Like a bee drawn to a flower, this book pulls you into their tale of love -- past and present -- and the deception and betrayal of those they hold close. With powerful words and hidden messages, JMS Bell reminds us that it is only by the grace of God that we are born again! This book is truly a work of art!!!
