When We Have Failed-What Next?. Author K.P. Yohannan is an encourager and one that instills hope in others through the word of God. His book When We Have Failed-What Next will gleam from biblical examples of individuals such as Moses, Elijah, and David that have accomplished much, yet fell into deep pits of despair and failure. Other individuals as well will be highlighted to prove God is a restorer when we come to Him with authentic repentance. The thief on the cross will serve as the best example that it is never too late with God. You will be encouraged to allow your tears of remorse to renew you back into fellowship with the Father.
The author will warn you of the enemy's plot in trying to discourage you so you lose hope. It is in yielding our failures to the Lord that He makes us into useful vessels. Other key concepts will include:
- His purpose in making us more like His Son
- How He longs for a fresh start with you
- Importance of receiving His forgiveness
- How we deal with failure that determines our future
- How our brokenness can give us strength to help others

Everyone fails. From the first time we try to walk, through years of school, years of work, and years of personal relationships. When we try something new, when we try to achieve something, we often fail. When we love someone, sometimes we hurt them. That too, is a failure. And what about God? When we fail, what is His viewpoint?

KP Yohannan clearly shows that God knew we would fail and that He has already provided for our failures--abundantly. He loved us before, during, and after failure and will see us through to success.

The hardest thing is believing that God is that good. But He is.

If you're down or discouraged about your life and your failures, this is the book for you.

I remember I was so upset that I sinned against God.
With bitterness I asked how can I? I didnt know what to do or how to get back up.
It was as if I could not forgive myself.
This book will explain the truth behind your feelings (like what caused it), how you should approach your problems and what you should do from then on. A God-centered, truth revealing, honest, and very very helpful book. :D I recommend it!

God is on our side and knows that we will fail. No human is perfect and trusting Christ to deliver us from our sins doesn't make us perfect. We learn in When We Have Failed-What Next? by KP Yohannan that there is a next...God doesn't disown us, doesn't leave us in the muck and mire. KP uses the Bible to help us understand the how, why, and what now of failure.

When We Have Failed, What Next? by K.P. Yohannan though short (78 pages) still packs quite a convicting punch. A lot of Christians (me included) when they fall/fail in their Christian lives feel inferior and don’t think God can use them anymore. K.P. refutes this erroneous belief; in that, no matter how hard we fall God is always there to help us back up. God is on our side and wants to see us succeed in our Christian Life. After establishing that God will help us up when we fall, K.P. exhorts us to remember our fellow Christians who may fall and to be a help to them.

A vague, yet deep, sense of failure plagued me for years. I did the dance between self-condemnation and blaming others for the difficulties of life. When I got this book as a gift, the title captured my attention. Reading it changed my life!

If you struggle as I did, I strongly recommend reading this book! The author points out how closely fear and pride are related. Until we humbly ask God to show us our sins from his perspective, we cannot be free. God showed me how I had rejected His authority in my life and, as a result, became a slave to fear driven perfectionism. Now, instead of seeking to "get it right", I accept His "rightness" that is applied to my yielded, repentant heart and then move forward with hope and JOY!
