5.0 out of 5 stars Lora Leigh is my new favorite
I bought this book after falling in love with Lora Leigh's Feline Breeds books. Lora Leigh is definitely one of the best Romantica authors out there.

This book had a good premise, and wonderful potential. I liked the storyline and the Lead Males but the Heroine was boring and whiny so she came across somewhat annoying. It's almost a rehash of the author's previous book of the Wizard Twins: Menage a Magick. Different sister, same annoying flat lead female character. This review is from: When Wizards Rule (Wizard Twins, Book 2) (Paperback)
I bought this book after falling in love with Lora Leigh's Feline Breeds books. Lora Leigh is definitely one of the best Romantica authors out there.

When Wizards Rule is set in a magical land in which wizards come in sets of twins, and one sorceress normally joins with a twin set to form a magical trio. So that's one girl, two alpha males.

Unfortunately, there is a long-standing rift between wizards and sorceresses, and the sorceresses don't trust the wizards and don't want to join with them. Meanwhile, evil human Seculars are attacking, and the joinings are needed to protect the magical lands.

Marina is a young, independent sorceress who wants nothing to do with wizards, and does her best to avoid the sexy Sashtain twins when they try to court her. But the twins are on a mission to save the land, and they set out to seduce her and convince her to join with them.

The plot is just background to an erotic love story, but it chugs along smoothly enough and helps keep the anticipation high throughout the book. This is not great literature, and the writing has some flaws (although it is not overly cliche or amatuerish), but that doesn't interfere with the intense eroticism of this story. If nothing else, the first love scene between Marina, Caise and Kai'el is one of the most erotic scenes I've ever read and made the whole book worthwhile.

I finished it in no time and then ordered everything else I could find by Lora Leigh. I highly recommend this book to fans of erotic romance.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very Erotic, April 28, 2006

This review is from: When Wizards Rule (Wizard Twins, Book 2) (Paperback)
"When Wizards Rule" has got to be one of the most erotic books I have ever read. It was excellent. If you are looking for a book of that nature then this is the story for you. The story is about a set of very sexy twins , who are wizards, that need to find their mate to align their magic. I loved it and am going to get the first one in the series called "Menage a Magic". If you are in search of a new erotic paranormal series then search no more because this story is excellent.

There were a few intriguing subplots that sets up the reader for sequeals. It seems the leads into the stories are great but after that, all pretense for the storyline falls. The love scenes with regards to menage a trios: its pretty steamy but not as sensual or well written as her other books, but it still gets a girl hot and bothered. ~_^

Overall its good for a simple read but don't expect anything really unique or to get really wrapped up into this book.

4.0 out of 5 stars Wizard Twins: When Wizards Rule, September 12, 2007
This review is from: When Wizards Rule (Wizard Twins, Book 2) (Paperback)
Not a bad read. This book is the sequel to Wizard Twins 1: Menage a Magick. We were introduced to Marina. She was brutalized by bad wizards and has a distrust for anything with a Y chromosome. Lora Leigh could have developed Marina's character a little more. The Sashtain Twins were way hot. Some really erotic sex scenes. Not Lora Leigh's best work but I still enjoyed this book. I am looking forward to the sequel involving the third sister, Serena.

I read Lora Leigh first installment of the Wizard Twins and enjoyed it. But this book gives a more in depth look into the background of the wizards and their worlds problems. The senuality of the book is a given but it is the interaction between the characters makes the book worth the read.

5.0 out of 5 stars what is better then excellent?????????????, November 1, 2011

Holy smokes! I just love Lora Leighs imagination, was introduced to her books by my daughter and believe me I cannot put them down. Lora's characters are so alive you would think they are going to jump from the page and the sex scenes are yummie and this is from a supposed mature aged oldie from the land down under. Just because I have grey on top doesn't mean I can't enjoy a good read. Read Lora's books, you will enjoy the experience.

The second book in Lora Leigh's Wizard Twins series lacked something for me. Although it was better than the first these books do not read as well as her Breeds series

Book II was as good as the first one if not better. The males were what dreams are made for. The women were strong (Personalities)
