This album was Lou's third release for Philadelphia International and carries on from where "Unmistakably Lou" left off. Lou's superb and unapologetically jazzy. super-club rendition of "Unforgettable" is incredibly beasutiful while the wistful ballads "I Wish It Were Yesterday", "If I Coulda, Woulda, Shoulda" and the timeless "Lady Love" are classy Philly ballads not to be missed. Only the bluesy, big-band style track "Dollar Green" sounds out of place with the CD's other nine tracks.

Lou Rawls is one of these unerring soloists who never abandon our melodic memory. Gifted by the Gods of a pleasant and warmth tune, Rawls makes through this invaluable album a true display of his undeniable gifts. As a a matter of fact he goes from the pop to the romantic ballad passing through jazz style and blues.
The most surprising finding of this CD is his memorable version of the classic "Unforgettable" : the musical arrangement and the magnificent intonation makes by itself to acquire this album. Don't miss it.

Louis Allen Rawls (December 1, 1933 - January 6, 2006) Rest in Peace my friend... You gave us many great moments. Perhaps Old Blue Eyes (Sinatra) said it best. Frank Sinatra once said that Rawls had "the classiest singing and silkiest chops in the singing game".
