This CD was on my doorstep when I got home from work. I popped it into my computer and I've been tappin' my toes for the past 4 hours.

Just nice - mellow - great piano and sax. Shut off your TV and listen to this... it will make you want to dance around the house. Happy music. Go Regis!

Yes, we are entertained by Regis every morning. I don't normally review novelty recordings such as this, But I'm doing this a favor for my wife Diane, a huge fan. Only a fraction of his adoring public knows of his vocal skill as a singer.

Granted, he is no Bennett or Vic Dimone. But Regis is a more-tha-competent vocalist. This is his "follow-up" to his 1968 album Time For Regis, which at that time was standard fair for the pop music world.

Regis competently sways and phrases through the standards, almost effortlessly-he does not desire anything more nor compromises for anything less. Good entertainment, if little depth; but why does it have to be? This is music from when he was young man and he wants to make it his own. Since todays rage is revisiting the standards (look at Rod Stewart's success and the like) Regis comes off here as a natural. No sweat.

Entertainment for the uncomplicated soul.

Years ago, I purchased Regis' first album (recorded while he was with Joey Bishop). What a voice Regis possessed at that time, despite the somewhat bland arrangements.

Now, more than three decades later, the man decides to step back into the recording booth...and the result is this masterful CD, produced by Steve Tyrell and chock full of great old tunes, including "Pennies from Heaven."

I am 46 years old and appreciate this kind of music, sung with integrity and feeling; the trashy music we are saddled with today does not compare one iota. Loved "They Can't Take That Away from Me," sung in duet with Mrs. Reege (the lovely Joy).

Regis, I've been a fan of yours since I was a kid, and you are ALL RIGHT in my book! Keep singing!!!

Regis is a great vocalist. I had no idea he could sing this well. Put this CD in and sit back, you'll feel great just listening to it. Regis is a natural, wonderful phrasing and rich sounding backup musicians Why did he wait so many years to do another album. This was the music of my parent's generation, but I have always loved it. I have Rod Stewart's CD of the same type of songs, Regis is better.

I bought this CD last year after seeing it on the TV. Until then, I was not even aware that Regis Philbin could sing. But this CD is now one of my favorites. It has such good compilation of songs on it.

Every time I want to cheer up and get in the mood for love, I listen to this music CD. I simply get so much joy out of listening to this album.

I purchased this CD mostly because I like Regis, watch his show and find him to be very entertaining. My parents "borrowed" this CD of mine and they have never returned it!! They like it a great deal and since the songs are more from "their time" than mine, I have let them keep this CD for them to enjoy!

Wow. Regis cuts loose and belts out a winner. When his wife joins him for a duet on one song, I was all like, "hey, you two need to go get a room!" It's just that hot! I don't know why MTV doesn't play his videos. The kids today need to discover someone like Regis - before he dies.

I absolutely love this CD. If you like Frank Sinatra or Dean Martin then you will also like this. Someone said in one of the reviews that Regis can't sing. I feel that is totally not true, what are you a music teacher?

Anyways, buy w/ confidence that you will enjoy this music.

I enjoyed listening to this album, especially after I realized that Regis and I both sing in the same key. Well, actually, Regis sings in key. I sing near the key.

But this gave me the opportunity to record a duet with him. I used the free audio editing program, Audacity 1.3, to import each song and then create a new track with my voice matched to his. After tweaking the volume of both Regis's and my audio tracks, my voice predominates and Regis fills in the background. (I hope he doesn't mind.)

I made this "album" for the personal enjoyment of my wife, so I'm sure there are no copyright issues.

If you have always wanted to record an album of these old songs and are searching for a compatible voice, this may be your chance. The free Audacity program makes it possible.

It was a lot of fun singing together with Regis. I hope he makes more albums.
