5.0 out of 5 stars Did the Grinch steal "Where Are You Christmas?", August 26, 2009

How disappointing that Where Are You Christmas by Faith Hill can only be heard on the soundtrack or by purchasing it for an MP3. I don't have an MP3 player, and I hear this song every Christmas time, stop whatever I'm doing, and cry. It is so poignant, so touching, so very beautiful that, yes, it should have been on Faith Hill's Christmas CD, and it should be a Christmas classic, just as The Little Drummer Boy once was. It is a modern "classic" that I hope will be heard for years and years into the future.

5.0 out of 5 stars Grinch Song, January 8, 2009

I had looked everywhere for this song to be listed on a Faith Hill Christmas CD. Unfortunately, maybe the Grinch soundtrack has all the rights to it(I didn't like many of the other songs on the soundtrack). So when I got my Ipod Shuffle, I made sure this one song was downloaded to my Shuffle. "Where Are You Christmas" should become a classic song. It says so much of the lost meaning of Christmas in so few words. I will enjoy this for many years to come.

This Faith Hill song, "Where Are You Christmas?" is from the soundtrack of the film "How The Grinch Stole Christmas," which was released in 2000 and starred Jim Carrey. It's not to be confused with the 1966 CBS TV special, although both were based at least loosely on the 1957 Dr. Seuss book "How the Grinch Stole Christmas!"

It's a lovely song, sung by Ms. Hill with great power and feeling as she laments the loss of Christmas and the joy and peace that Christmas represents:

"Where are you Christmas
Why can't I find you
Why have you gone away
Where is the laughter
You used to bring me
Why can't I hear music play"

Definitely a 5-star performance by Faith Hill, one of America's finest country music artists.
