Her text is beautifully complimented by Bruce Degen's expressive, colorful, detailed illustrations and together they bring pre-schoolers the holiday message of peace on earth and joy to the world.

My son really enjoys the Jesse Bear books and this is another great one about Jesse Bear and Christmas time. I really like the fact that this story is not just about the night before or the day of, but the entire season. This book is a great choice for kids ages 3-5, or older kids who might not have the attention span to sit for longer stories.

This is one of the best Christmas books we checked out from the library this year. You follow Jesse bear at home and around town while he uses his five senses to discover Christmas. My two-year old loves it and we'll be getting our own copy for reading during the holidays.
