This book provided great background and context for places in Cleveland where I and/or my dad witnessed some great sporting and entertainment events, namely League Park, Cleveland Municipal Stadium, The Arena, The Coliseum, and more. The book reads easilly and clearly but I was hoping for more pictures and graphics, although there certainly are many great pictures and notes. A definite buy for the reminiscing Cleveland sports fan!

A great overview of Cleveland sports history. The authors take you through a logical progression of the different teams and their stadiums/arenas. This book is very readable and is loaded with great pictures.

This is a terrific book taking one down "memory lane." It outlines the various sports stadiums of the past in a great sports town: cleveland, ohio. as a 7-year old kid, my dad took me to see the Browns play the L.A. Rams in old Cleveland Municipal in the late 1960s. My Dad and myself also saw the big rivalry game of the Browns-Steelers in the early 1970s. The author does an admirable job of sharing the stadiums' histories but also key games in history at those
now-gone parks. Highly recommended for the NOSTALGIC football and baseball fan and, in particular, those of you who sat in old Cleveland Municipal Stadium to see the Indians or Browns...and Cleveland's other great old stadiums.
Enjoy the nostalgia! GO BROWNS and TRIBE!

If you like the Cleveland Browns and history, this
book is for you. Lots of unknown facts and stories
of all the arenas the Browns played in.

THIS IS A GREAT READ FOR THOSE WHO HAVE BEEN TO THE HALLOWED STADIUMS AND ARENAS WHERE THE INDIANS, BROWNS, CAVS AND HOCKEY TEAMS HAVE TREAD. COVERED IS LEAGUE PARK, MUNICPAL STADIUM, THE ARENA AND THE COLISEUM. A DETAILED BUT SHORT TELLING IS DONE VERY WELL ON EACH BUILDING. THERE ARE MANY GREAT PICTURES TO GO ALONG WITH THIS SHORT BUT GOOD BOOK. THE ONLY COMPLAINT I HAVE IS IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN MORE INFO AND STORIES ABOUT THESE GREAT HALLOWED SPORTS FACILITIES. A MUST READ FOR ALL CLEVELAND SPORTS FANS.
