Along with Lynyrd Skynyrd and The Allman Brothers, The Marshall Tucker Band is the definitive Southern rock band, and over their long and storied career, theyve seamlessly blended rock, jazz, blues, and soul. But this new collection shows that theyve always been country boys at heart.
As part of Shout! Factory/Rambin Records comprehensive reissue campaign of MTBs classic material, the 2-disc Where A Country Boy Belongs pulls together their best country and country-tinged recordings, from the bands first album right up to the present day.

Country Tucker...not many hits...it's a good thing!,
By Ride the country 77 (Montgomery, AL USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Where A Country Boy Belongs (Audio CD)
This is a great collection to get a lot of Tucker you haven't heard, if you were like me, and stop listening after about 1981. Lots of these songs are cuts off the later albums and the country ones at that! Great sound quality from Shout Factory...you should pick up all the remasters up thru 'Running Like the Wind' at least...then this one for a great sampling of their later stuff.
