5.0 out of 5 stars - the funniest guide to the globe in the world!, April 9, 2000
This review is from: Where on Earth? (Paperback)
If you're looking for the perfect geography overview for elementary students, even those who are bored, fussy, or non-spatial learners, this is the best you'll ever find. Paul Rosenthal and his brother Marc teamed up on creating this treasure, and it takes kids where they've never gone before - into an enjoying venture around the world. Each continent is dealt with individually, presenting a comic-strip format overview for each, with hilarious text to follow. The text format "breathes" too, you don't see great, daunting paragraphs of words (which can become reading blocks by default). Every student I've used this with has enjoyed it thoroughly, and learned much without much effort.

5.0 out of 5 stars Your kids won't realize they're learning! This books is fabulous, informative and funny!, February 18, 2009
This review is from: Where on Earth? (Hardcover)
I bought this book when our oldest son was only 3 years old because I thought it was so wonderful, and that was almost 15 years ago! We used it to teach him all about the world, the continents and the like and we're using it with our 11 year old now. It's a great book, the illustrations and examples are great~ perfect for all ages ~ you've got to have this book.
